Life imitating art:
Cops in England are on the lookout for one of ROBIN HOOD's merry men.
Police think the unidentified man is responsible for multiple muggings in the city of Coventry. They're looking for a grubby, unkempt white male with a hairstyle that looks exactly like FRIAR TUCK's. He didn't behave like a friar though --he mugged seven different women, and one of them was 89-years old. Cops say all the attacks were violent in nature, but none of the victim's were seriously injured. (Still)How'd you like to live in the same house they filmed "The Godfather" in?
Bloomberg.net says the house, which is currently owned by attorney LEONARD ROSS and is about three blocks away from Sunset Boulevard, is up for grabs... if you've got $135 million in small change laying around.
The home, which includes five buildings, 28 bedrooms, 36 bathrooms, a wine cellar, gym, eight-car garage, a lighted tennis court, media center, art deco nightclub, massage room, and two screening rooms was purchased by silent screen star MARION DAVIES for her lover, WILLIAM RANDOLPH HEARST, who lived there until his death five years later.
It was also used by JOHN F. KENNEDY and his brand-new wife, JACKIE, on their honeymoon.
But of course, we've all seen it on the big screen in "The Godfather" and it was also used for a location in "The Bodyguard" as well.Odds on who'll replace David Letterman as host of "The Late Show":

PETE TOWNSHEND has written and recorded his first ever tune for television. It's called "It Must Be Done," and you'll hear it during the April 30th episode of the hit FX spy drama series, "The Americans." Pete worked on the song with the show's main composer, NATHAN BARR. And, Pete's solo tune, "Let My Love Open The Door" will be heard at the beginning and end of the "Californication" season opener on Showtime, April 13th. It's a new remix of his 1980 single.
Editor's note: Look for Ross Brittain Report Music Editor VINNY MARINO in that April 30th episode of "The Americans." He plays the young father who almost gets killed by LEE TERGESEN. (Marino)Taking everything much too seriously:
An art exhibit in London, England is made entirely out of snacks.
Artists at the White Space Gallery used 12-thousand pretzel sticks, 120-pounds of crackers, and 22-pounds of cheddar flavored squares to create the 3D sculptures and portraits. Edible works of art are modeled after various celebrities and famous landmarks like Stonehenge. Renowned food artist NATHAN WYBURN admits, "A few mouthfuls went missing as part of the creative process but I'm delighted with the end result." (Still) -
