Human Nature:
Men and women who use the popular dating app Tinder have lower levels of self-esteem than people who don't. This new study of people 18 to 24-years-old was presented at the annual convention of the American Psychological Association. CBS New York says both male and female Tinder users reported feeling worse about themselves and their bodies, compared their physical appearances to other people, felt more ashamed of their bodies and focused more on their own attractiveness. The opening festivities for the Summer Olympics go down tonight, but don't hold your breath waiting to see a bevy of big stars live from Rio. Industry experts say part of the problem may be the fact that 18-holes of golf take too long for the millennial generation --and it's much more expensive than some other sports as well. The President at play:
PRESIDENT OBAMA celebrated his 55th birthday last night with a star-studded celebration at the White House. Among those scheduled to attend were BEYONCE and JAY Z, along with rapper KENDRICK LAMAR and R&B star USHER.
Also on the guest list --ELLEN DeGENERES, STEVIE WONDER, Vogueeditor ANNA WINTOUR, as well as basketball legends MAGIC JOHNSON and ALONZO MOURNING. (Pacelli) -
