LARRY THE CABLE GUY is much more than just another funny redneck, he's hiding a serious athlete beneath that cut-off flannel and camo hat. TMZ.com reports the comic got into an arm-wrestling match with an Army vet at a Nebraska Cornhuskers game and broke the poor guy's arm! The accident caught the attention of STEVE KAPLAN from the World Armwrestling League, who invited him to come train with some of the "world's best" and also extended the offer to the loser of the match, "John." He's even accused of getting in her car with her uninvited. (Myers)

A Texas man was hospitalized after being compacted in a garbage truck.
Fire officials in Wichita Falls say the guy --in his sixties-- was sleeping in a dumpster when it was picked up by a garbage truck. Workers saw the man fall out when the truck's contents were emptied. He was taken to a hospital for evaluation. (Still) -
