Valentine's Day is about love, or the lack there of. Atlanta's Q100 chooses to celebrate the latter with their "Bitter Ball," while other stations have wedding vow renewals and give away diamond rings. Moms look forward to sweet pieces of art their young kids bring home from school. There is nothing like a hand made Valentine complete with smudges and glitter. The older the kids the least likely she will get a handmade treat. Special dinners, hearts, flowers and chocolate add a niceness to this day, while others choose not to acknowledge it at all.
Here are my tips: most grocery stores have a fantastic floral section offering reasonably priced and beautifully wrapped flowers, plants and balloons. These items are much cheaper than the average florist shop. And tomorrow is the day to buy all the speciality chocolate that did not get purchased today at a discounted price. Send some love y'all.
