Prom happens at different times across the country. My advice is to know your area's prom time and get involved in a way that is helpful to 'her.' Be it an opportunity to help her daughter get a reasonable dress, connect with restaurants for meal deals, recommend make up services, suggest the best flower company, provide limo service and celebrate the event on your Facebook page, complete with pictures.
I still have my prom pictures and memories, it's an major event that lasts and nowadays schools make it so a date is not required. Maybe if you're real nice they'll ask you to chaperone.Right Now She Could be
