Cake pops are so popular. I'm watching a bridal shower at a nail salon and there are large amounts of pink and yellow sprinkled cake pops and fizzy drinks everywhere. As a spectator, I'm glad that small napkins are also included with most of these treats. Some women faintly nibble at their treat, complaining how fat it's going to make them, some inhale it in two bites, and most pull the cake part off the stick and break it open on a napkin to examine the contents. The consensus is that it tastes like cookie dough.
All swear they can't eat the whole thing, yet somehow all the pops disappear in a matter of 30 minutes. The fizzy stuff is flowing freely and these ladies celebrate the bride and their freshly manicured toes. This salon is listening to a Sirius/Xm's "The Blend" channel, it fits nicely with just the right tempo of music for a chick day. Good times! All that's missing is a station sponsorship.
