When I was a kid my mom would save our old blue jeans so we could wear them as "cut offs" in the summer. We'd cut them up, then fray the ends ourselves by pulling out some threads. Frayed jeans today range in price and I've seen them as high as sixty bucks.
I turned into my mother this year when I pulled out a bunch of old jeans that my kids went through. We cut them off, frayed the ends, added a little hit of spray paint and there you have it, shorts at no extra cost. My daughter's are thrilled when they are asked where they got their shorts. They smirk as say they are "couture."June is..
