My daughter Hannah started her junior year of high school this week; an event that went unnoticed because we returned from our London trip the night before she started. She was fine with this, and so far her first week is going well. It's a whole new world and schedule, but not unfamiliar since she's been there and done that a few times. Its the little grades like kindergarden, elementary even middle school that get more first day attention. Now it's about school supplies, assignments and where she has to be and when. Friday night football games, tests and cafeteria stories will start to happen for me, but not for all, as regionally my friends in the north east are still doing summer camp and trips to Six Flags. Things will all start to sync up around Thanksgiving which isn't that far off in the future. Just sayin.
