Although I always get a little sad when Summer comes to a close...I had a great one chalk full of fun. But I must admit..It's nice to be back into our normal routine again. B's back in soccer, I'm back at the gym and we're both excited for snow boarding season to begin!

Remember Routines. Family routines tend to slide in the summer—after all, what's summer without crazy bedtimes, a popsicle habit, and wearing swimsuits for days on end?—and it can be hard to readjust come fall, notes Patricia Tanner Nelson, Family and Human Development Specialist at the University of Delaware. "Before school starts, focus on choosing sleep, exercise, healthy foods, and time together," she says. Practice school bedtimes a week before school starts so that the new routine is established.• Get more She Prep at www.ShePrep.com
