Catching up after a trip away brings a woman more than a bunch of laundry. Whenever entering a home after it has not been lived in for some time, thats when the house starts to smell...like a home. Hopefully, the refrigerator was cleaned out before the trip. Lighting a candle helps, and make sure to put baking soda on the grocery list, as it's the cheapest and best way to refresh most things. Take note that Arm & Hammer products are great, but you can buy a box of generic baking soda for about fifty cents and use it for a multiple household things. It's one of the best frugal finds she could have in her house.
With all good intentions I opened my refrigerator after returning home. The next thing I know I've cleaned out my refrigerator and freezer because it was empty enough to work with and the shelves needed a good cleanse. Women are like this. I may have needed to unpack, feed the kids, and start laundry, but that refrigerator was screaming "clean me!" and after a week away at a resort my cleaning bone said "okay, I will." So, now that cleaning is finished, I gotta go to Trader Joe's because all I really have for food is a carton of eggs, some Greek yogurt, a bag of Dorito's and lots of canned tomatoes. Many women's magazine will encourage all travelers to have a meal in the freezer ready to pop in the oven so when you return home you've got your first meal ready to go. Yeah, I'm not that good ..yet :)She Vents

DO consider the Quality of the Item. Consignment Shops are not dumping grounds for everything you and your children have outgrown. The clothes must be in excellent condition. The toys as well.
DON'T bring your winter coats to Consignment Shops in June. Don't bring your old Halloween costumes in February. Focus on what's in season. Now.
DO be realistic about pricing. Even if the tag is still on it. Even if you never wore it. You are not going to receive the original price or close to it. Consignment shoppers are looking for Bargains.
DON'T forget about adult-size apparel. Many people assume that baby/children's goods are the only items that sell on Consignment. Not true. Many women shop for bargains for themselves and are looking for good-quality apparel in consignment shops.
DO consider maximizing your profits by using an on-line Consignment Shop. While many consignment stores take commissions of up to 40-50%, on-line Consignment Shops often charge much less.• Get more She Prep at www.ShePrep.com
