Eyelash extensions are all the rage. I can totally tell when my girlfriends upload new Facebook photos after they had their lashes done. This is a costly beauty endeavor many try to budget for, as it eliminates the need for mascara and really brightens up the face. No sleepy look or raccoon eyes first thing in the morning either. The cost is approximately $200 for a two hour process to get these extensions glued onto your regular eyelashes. The glue dries fast and the first set of lashes is expected to last two to three weeks. A $50.00 "fill" is required to upkeep this initial investment. Add on nails and hair and her beauty budget just grew to an exponential level. Of course she's worth it, but is it worth her?
She Tip
According to the BA Foodist, the average restaurant tip should start at 20 percent—wait-people expect this and anything less is disappointing. Here are his five tipping rules:
Unless the service is rude and awful, tips must start at 18 percent.
Tip on the subtotal, not the tax.
Cover those at your table who are not tipping properly.
Make sure you can afford to eat out, including tip, before doing so.She's busy
Here are some tips iVillage recommends for busy moms:
Get organized; do whatever it takes and stay that way.
Find your time-wasters and solve them. For example, pack lunches at night.
Write down all of everything she wants to remember.
Keep a calendar with all dates included.
Have paper and pen by her phone.
Designate a specific day to get certain things done, like grocery day is Saturday.
Buy in bulk.
Teach kids to really help out.
Check priorities.
Make a pile of what she wants to read and place by her bed for evening reading.• Get more She Prep at www.ShePrep.com
