Tis the day before Thanksgiving. She's finishing up at work; packing; traveling; shopping for groceries; setting tables; volunteering at a food bank; picking up relatives from the airport; picking up pies and turkeys; cooking; cleaning up; looking forward to, and stressing, about seeing relatives and friends; she's looking forward to seeing her college kids too. Lots of retail workers will work tonight, tomorrow and through Black Friday. This is the busiest travel time of the year, so think planes, trains and automobiles, and all those that operate them. It's a time for 5K fun runs, feeding the homeless, chopping onions and celery, and even baking a Tofurky. Thanksgiving is full of opportunity. Besides telling her you're thankful for her listenership, you could also make sure she takes adequate time to really remember all she is thankful for.

In order to avoid luggage fees, more travelers are using carry-on bags, causing a battle for overhead bins when boarding. Passengers are now being forced to check their bags after the overhead bins are full; but no fee is charged for this—yet.
