Returning an item is a hassle. This is why free returns are so enticing when shopping online. A face to face return at a merchants shop is a good way to build up customer satisfaction. A good experience returning an item means almost as much as a good sale. No one wants to explain why they don't want an item, "it's too small, too large, too expensive is personal info. Really unless the item is defective or worn a simple refi d with a smile will and should suffice. Rebates are another way the consumer can be treated well or challenged. I received a fifty dollar rebate from a wireless company in the form of a Visa gift card. I was told it wasn't activated when I tried to use it. Then I was told there was a twenty dollar fee attached since this card was not used for six months. Yes I said this was supposed to be a rebate and after a thirty-five minute phone conversation with a wireless representative it was reinstated as a fifty dollar refund the used immediately on a Otter phone case for my daughters new phone.what a strong looking phone case. Well worth the rebate?
