Quite often a picture of 'living life to it's fullest' is accompanied by a picture of a perfect looking woman, sometimes with her perfect looking family, or the author is a sharp dressed doctor. Many women live a full life for, and because, of their family. They are busy managing everyone else's schedules, and as a result their 'life' suffers somewhat. This is not to say her life is bad, it's not, it's just a different dimension than those living without children. Protection and 'what if's' have entered into her mind often. Current events make her realize that something could go wrong anywhere. Feeling like a sitting duck is no fun, yet she, or we, can't live in fear. As you move back to a business-as-usual attitude remember these are sensitive times. Our coveted demo is not just made up of working moms who remember to slice the crust off peanut butter sandwiches while Nick Jr. blares in the background, but of women who are looking at solitary boxes and backpacks on the street with an edge of trepidation. Remind her "when in doubt, call it in."
