Meeting up with a family that has small children at a restaurant is not the best way to spend quality time, as the parents usually end up spending more time tending to the children, and all their needs, instead of engaging with their dinner party. However, family friendly events that include simple opportunities like discounted family time at a zoo, or an event complete with Crayola crayons, can go over well.
On a personal note, one of the best ways to connect with these families is to have them over to your house for a meal; baby proof ahead of time if necessary, but give the kids and the parents a safe place to be, where toys can be strewn and diapers can be changed, and where sippy cups will get lost and kids can not be too confined. This is why Grandma's house is so popular. Kids know they are loved and welcome, and parents know that there is an immediate understanding that kids will be kids. Have that understanding with her today, and don't be offended if she doesn't acknowledge the gesture immediately, as her 4 year old has gum in her hair, and the 3 year old "has to go potty right now!"She Buzz Words:

Her grocery bill is increasing weekly. Here are some tips to get the most bang for her buck:- Pre-bagged onions, oranges, and potatoes are cheaper than bought separately.
Frozen fish is cheaper than fresh (which was probably previously frozen anyway).
- Buy in bulk (just do it).
- Paper and cleaning products are cheaper
other places.
Figure out the products cost per unit, which is listed on the shelf sticker right next to the price.• Get more She Prep at www.ShePrep.com
