The national forecast is nothing but bipolar. My sister in Minnesota is still sending me pictures of fat snowflakes, while my friends in Orlando are noticing higher volumes of traffic, and blaming it on the warm-weather seeking tourists. Let's try to bottle up the chilliness, and bring it out to play on a steamy humid day in July.
Perspective is a beautiful thing. I wonder what the temperatures are like for our soldiers serving our country overseas. Back at home, the swing between seasons has every meteorologist busy, talking about a chance of light snow instead of sunshine. My mother's garden is still a frozen mound, and she's very much wanting to start digging and planting, ready to experience new growth. But tonight, colder air returns to her region.
This year a great Mother's Day gift might be some bottled sunshine. By the way, Mother's Day is 12 days away, less than two weeks. Just saying.
