I feel an excitement in the air today. This Labor Day weekend has great possibilities to be a great memory on the end of a summer filled with firsts. Our kids have been experiencing many firsts; first time at sleep away camp, first time visitiong someplace new, first kiss, first date, first experience with a new pet, a new friend a new food a new subject or sport. Moms have been trying new recipes, new vacation stops, new reads, new clothes, new friendships, new life happenings, new products. If the taime is taken to really reflect back on the beginning days of summer you can help her remember things that were key in how she feels about her past eight weeks. My summer started out with a kayaking weekend, one of my children just wanted to be alone on the water and read before the business of summer stuff kicked in. I look back on that now and realized how in the distance it was yet it really set the tone for how I'm feeling about my summer, today. Same with the music you play. That can and will evoke the beachy, woodsy, watery, summery outings that should not just sit as a previous Facebook post.
