If the women in your life are a little cranky this week itʼs probably because they lost an hour of sleep over the weekend. One hour can really throw a gal off. I understand why this needs to happen; all the lack of sunlight...I just donʼt like it. Waking up in dark does not seem an ideal way to start a day unless you work morning drive. The act of setting my clock back feels wrong and is physically hard for me. Okay, I might be exaggerating but when it comes to sleep, time is of the essence. Most Americans do not get enough sleep, yet resting can be the cure-all for many problems. Hungry, angry, lonely, and tired are big triggers for most problems. I know my family very much prefers when Iʼm not any of these things, but most importantly tired. I donʼt do well when Iʼm running late either. I am not unique in this.
Turning the clock back signifies Spring is coming and for us. This year the big joke is that many areas are giving up winter for Lent, an with good reason. For many Spring could not get here any quicker. Itʼs recommended that she check her fire extinguishers and fire alarm when she turned her clock back. Did she? Did you? Studies show that most people do not have fire extinguishers in kitchens, yet that is where most household fires start. Most homes have fire detectors but the batteries go unchecked too. Perhaps you canʼt literally go to her house and check these things for her but you could provide the incentive and batteries :)She buzz words
