Routines are different as summer kicks in, and it's all because of the kids. Depending on moms schedule, the absence of the regular school routine requires tweaking in a families life. It takes an adjustment. The end of the school year is a flurry of emotions and activity, which is usually followed by a vacation prior to a re-entry into the new normal. Grills are fired up, day camps start, swim lessons, and someone's gotta cut the grass! Stability is more difficult in the summer, but you have the ability to stay consistent and providing what she needs: great music, relevant personality and maybe some water park tickets. Regular mani-pedis are on the must do list, and blowing up a child's swimmies become routine. Putting your wet beach towel directly in the washer is highly recommended.
