My daughter Haylee sent me a Buzzfeed article titled "30 delicious things to cook in June."
Every item is a work of art for my palate. However, when I think of all the dietary needs or food issues in my family, this artistic endeavor becomes a puzzle of how I can tweak the recipe to meet all needs. My dinner table needs to be low-carb, gluten free, preservative free, low in greens and grains, and I have a kid with food texture issues, too. You know the meat can't touch the potatoes kinda kid. Right now the blueberry orange popsicles seem to be the front runner, but can you really have those for dinner? And is it worth the time to create , or is it easier to just buy a box of Popsicles at the grocery store. Many moms are opting for the store, but happy to have experienced the "art."
