I was in Orlando last week at CMB's Momentum radio conference; it's very strange to be at a Disney resort without my kids. I feel like there's going to be a citation waiting for me upon check out with a fine for each day I spent without my kids. The conference was great, the return trip delayed due to weather, but still ok. There is a time of adjustment when returning to the land of laundry and traffic. Especially after spending time at a place known for awesome customer service smiling faces and magical experiences. Disney employees are called cast members, and are trained to treat all who come anywhere near their path with love, kindness, helpfulness and sincerity too. From the bellhop to the ride operator, all Disney employees, I mean cast members, treat their guests like gold. From the outside looking in, all said employees seem to get along as well. I'm told all positions come clearly defined, so there is no question as to who needs to be doing what. My friend Marisol handles the planning of Disney weddings, and she is thrilled with her position.
As I unpack my overly stuffed carry on bag I'm thinking of all the smiling faces I saw: moms, girlfriends, dads, kids, grandmas, etc, and thinking of how our listener can and should really benefit from this approach. I mean, who doesn't want to have a magical day?• Get more She Prep at www.ShePrep.com
