I just paid off one kids camp balance for the summer; and another kids Fall semester at college plus I renewed my Hot Yoga membership paying the yearly rate to save. What a chuck of change and what a relief! There is balance in all of that somewhere. We could shoot back to an article written in January, where I was standing in a long line with the hopes of getting one daughter registered at a certain camp for specific weeks. This camp is so popular, the lottery system is used in order to register. I have one girlfriend that got an excellent slot and registered her two kids for everything they wanted. Another friend got a lower number, and only two out of the four weeks needed. Figuring out the rest of her kids summer is now at the top of her list of things to do. My number fell in the middle and did okay. Swim lessons, arts and crafts, and computers sounds like fun, right ? There's a Cirque Camp I'd like to attend that teaches tricks a-la Cirque de Soleil. Funny how kids can go to a camp like this for a couple hundred dollars for a few weeks. The adult version of this would be a week at a Club Med with charges in the thousands. I'm not surprised they don't have a need for the lottery system. Here are a few fun She facts; 85% of moms say parenting is their hardest job. and 40% of moms are the family's prime breadwinner. And now here's that web site for Club Med :)
