It's Cinco-de Mayo!
May 5, 2011
Following through makes a huge difference in a woman's life. Many are good at it and respond well to it. My friend Kai Elmer at INO Records is the best example of follow-though I've had lately. This guy is amazingly thorough and thoughtful, and now as I'm writing this I should find out if he's single because he might be right for my friend Dawn. One mention to Kai about anything and he is on it. I told him about how one his bands, Skillet, made an incredible impact in my daughters life. Kai followed up by sending her their entire CD collection. I mentioned a Bible study my teen life group is doing, he sends CDs for all the girls that coincide with the study, passes, info, emails..all without me asking. I mean maybe I should tell him I like BMW's!
My girlfriend Debbie is good this way too, she's always mailing sweet 'thinking about you' cards, bakes pies for friends just because, and seriously keeps up with the needs of her friends. All of these gestures again, without a request, and all because the gesture feels right and happens out of genuine sincerity. How's your follow through? Is there someway you can connect with her in a thoughtful, unprovoked way?
It could get ya three points for Grifindor.
