Sure, You're All For The Music Until You Have To Live Next To It

So you move into a gentrifying neighborhood. Good! And you see new businesses moving into the main strip. Great! And two of them are concert venues, bringing a hipster crowd to the area. Okay. And the venues aren't soundproofed, and that means you end up dealing with noise all night whenever there's a show. Not good at all! That's the situation in this St. Louis neighborhood, and the neighbors would sure like those venues to put up the soundproofing. They would have preferred that it be done BEFORE the halls opened for business, but that didn't happen. How should the city balance the desire to gentrify an area with the needs of the people who were there first? (KSDK-TV/St. Louis)
