This is an interesting piece, a little inside-baseball but worth your time, on the dilemma facing Time Inc. as a magazine company in an age hostile to magazines. What do they do to survive? They don't seem sure. They SAY the word "digital" a lot, but they don't seem to have a plan. But that's something you can expand to a lot of businesses and even people: What do you do when your company or your career are obsolete? Can you retool and redirect? Is there a need for magazines when the world's switched to getting instant news and commentary via social media and websites? When is it too late? (New York Magazine)
