Like A Country Club? So Everyone Sits Around Quietly Getting Drunk?
-
Here's yet another social network for the rich, Netropolitan. It costs $9,000 up front and $3,000 a year, to keep out you riff-raff, don't you know. It was created by former Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra (there IS such a thing?) conductor James Touchi-Peters... okay, that DEFINITELY sounds like a fake, joke name. It's intended as the online equivalent of a country club. Sounds... dire. Do not want. (CNN)
