The Justice Department is now clamping down on diplomats who spend funds plundered from their own countries in America, like the Second Vice President of Equitorial Guinea, who has agreed to give up a $30 million Malibu home, a collection of Michael Jackson memorabilia, a Ferrari, and other goodies he allegedly bought with funds obtained through corruption, intimidation, and plunder. You'd think they'd have cracked down on this earlier, but they're doing it now. What's interesting is that the people who sold this guy all that stuff never asked questions. I guess cash speaks loudest. (Los Angeles Times)
