It's Easier To Spell, I Guess
-
Amal Alamuddin is an accomplished international law and human rights lawyer, one of the most successful in her field. She got married to some guy, and she's taking his surname. Okay, she married George Clooney, but the question is about taking your spouse's name. It's old-fashioned, maybe, but it's tradition. Would you have made that change, especially in light of her independent and extensive career success record? (My wife took my surname, and I didn't ask her to; she wanted to do it, even though it wasn't an issue for me either way. Tradition!) (CNN)
