Wait To Make Sure He Doesn't Do Anything To Make You Regret It
-
Once again, a city is already planning a historical marker honoring President Obama, this time a marker at the site of a campaign rally he held in Austin during his 2008 run, and once again, the question arises: Why can't they wait until he's done with his term in office? Why is there a rush? Nobody's going to argue that he shouldn't be honored with stuff being named after him; he IS a major historical figure, whether you like him or not, but they CAN wait two more years. And... the site of a campaign rally? Really? That's all? How about waiting two years, then naming a freeway or park or federal building after him? (KXAN-TV/Austin)
