Though Around Here, It Can Take You Two Hours To Just Get Across Town

This article is about super-commuters, defined as people who commute 90 miles or more each way to work. Some are SO far away that they fly to work, pack a lot into a few days at a time, then go back home, sometimes to another country. My longest was a brief time in which I commuted 63.6 miles each way, and that was pretty brutal. I also did about 45 miles each way at 3:30 am when I was at Y-107. The most popular super-commute is for the people who live in Tucson and work in Phoenix, 200 miles round-trip. Philly to New York is close, but at least you can take the Acela. How people do it, I don't know, but, then, I commute from one end of the house to the other. (BBC)
