The family of a man who choked to death at an Applebee's in 2011 is suing, and if your first impulse is that it wouldn't be the restaurant's fault, the suit alleges that the assistant manager didn't tell a 911 dispatcher that the guy wasn't breathing, and that the place didn't have anti-choking equipment as required by state law or training for employees to handle choking. Do you expect restaurants to be able to handle choking cases? I've found that some public places don't even have a first aid kit handy. (Greenfield Recorder)
