This Has 'Bad Sitcom Idea' Written All Over It
-
It is not quite true that a dog will get a $1 million inheritance in this couple's will, but she WILL get an inheritance, overseen by a trustee, intended to take care of her after her owners die. And, you know, if it's not a huge amount of money, that's not so unreasonable. Right? You want your pet to be cared for when you're gone. The million dollar thing came up because the owner told the New York Post that the dog's "worth $1 million to us," and the reporter and editors assumed... well, it's not a million. Would you leave a little something to ensure your pet's OK after you're gone? (WNYW-TV/New York)
