If They Wore Helmets And Banned Shots To The Head, Would You Watch?
-
Two former pro wrestlers are suing WWE over head injuries sustained with years of chairs over the head, facebreakers, and other moves that cause a jolt to the skull. Yeah, hard to dispute that getting repeatedly hit in the head might cause CTE, but then again, if someone tells you or me to take metal folding chair shots to the head, we'd say no, because even if it's a breakaway chair, we know it's not healthy. Nothing about pro wrestling seems healthy, but you know that going in, don't you? (Philadelphia Inquirer)
