Nothing Suspicious About This At All. Nope. Nothing Suspicious

Here's an oddity that's something I've wondered about, too: There's a gas station in Torrance, an Arco, a block off the Crenshaw exit of the 405 freeway -- a prime location -- and nobody ever gets gas there, for a good reason: Prices are stuck at almost $5 a gallon and have been that high for... well, years. And the price never changes. And there are other gas stations nearby at normal prices. And the owner won't say why the price is static, and the clerks won't talk. People use the pumps as parking to go into the AM/PM store, but they don't actually pump any gas. You can't make much money preying on desperate people who are running out of gas, so... what the hell is going on here? (Daily Breeze, Torrance)
