High tech in higher education means, apparently, an increase in cheating. Students can more easily find ways to get answers they don't otherwise know; Stanford's looking into one situation in which 20% of students in a large introductory course allegedly cheated. You can cut and paste from sources without attribution, you can get test answers, and you can navigate school and get good grades without managing to learn anything, least of all ethics. You'd think conscience would get to them, but I guess not. (Bloomberg)
