Roenicke, Redmond... Okay, Who's Next?
-
The Miami Marlins -- okay, it's pretty much solely owner Jeff Loria at this point -- have fired manager Mike Redmond and bench coach Rob Leary after the team got off to a bad start. They just signed Redmond to a two-year extension last Fall, and have one year left on Ozzie Guillen's contract, so they'll be paying THREE managers this season. The firing comes immediately after the Marlins were within one out of being no-hit, and it adds Redmond to a growing list of managers quickly fired by Loria. The Marlins seem to think that changing managers will magically fix things, despite having seen over the years that it does not. (Miami Herald)
