It's So Dirty, You Can Almost Walk Across It. Almost

Three times in one weekend, swimmers drowned in the Delaware River, the latest being a young father who, with friends, decided to swim from one bank to an abandoned island off Burlington, NJ. He didn't make it. Another had a guy drown while swimming in the river in Bristol, PA, and, look, I used to live right on the banks of the Delaware in Bucks County, and by the time you get down to Burlington and Bristol (they're right opposite each other), the water is not what you'd ever want to swim in. It's pretty disgusting. You want to swim, go to a pool. (WCAU-TV/Philadelphia)
