Must Have Been Some Special Boxer-Briefs
-
The other day I watched a car chase running through the streets of South Jersey and Philadelphia. I was enjoying it, not because of the danger involved, but because, being a former resident of the Delaware Valley, and a current resident of the Los Angeles area, it was interesting to see how the old country handled something my current area of residence has on a regular basis. But now we find out why the van in question was being chased; it turns out that it all resulted from the driver having stolen two packages of underwear from a Shop-Rite and pushing the security guard on the way out. That's all it took. And that raises an entirely different topic: should the police be getting involved in car chases with people whose crimes, although unacceptable, are not, on the scale of infractions, all that significant?
