What Will Freshmen Have To Talk About In Orientation If They Don't Compare SATs?
-
George Washington University is joining the ranks of colleges that are ditching the SATs. if an applicant wants to take the test, they can, and if they want to tell the school the score, they can, but it's not going to be required, and it won't be held against you if you don't put an SAT score down. It's part of the movement to ignore standardized tests, and, you know, I don't really know whether other factors are more important, whether testing is a necessity, or any of that. But if you have kids getting to the age where they're applying to colleges, this is a big deal. (CNN Money)
