Hydrate, they tell athletes. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. That's the opposite of what they USED to say- they used to shame players into NOT drinking during practice. Now, coaches tell you to drink, drink, drink. (Water, that is.) And now the experts say that there's more of a danger of athletes getting sick, or killed, from overhydration -- too much water. You're supposed to drink when you're thirsty, and that's it. Try to stick to that. (New York Times)
