Maybe You Shouldn't Watch 'Homeland' Until Things Settle Down
-
Several TV series canceled episodes this week in the wake of the Paris terrorist attacks, because the plot lines included bombings and stuff. The question is, should networks pull episodes every time real life incidents occur? Is it sensitivity to triggering, or just avoiding the uncomfortable, or is everyone overdoing the sensitivity? Would you have been upset if a show did a terrorism plotline episode just after the bombs and guns went off? What's the right move here? (New York Times)
