Cops in Dickson County, TN barged into a guy's house on an arrest warrant with guns drawn and their body cameras off, a shot was fired, the occupant was arrested for aggravated assault, and there's no video. So the charges have been dropped, and the question is now: Why did they turn the cameras off? The internal rules are that the cops are all supposed to have their cameras on during all interactions with the public. Is this how it's gonna be? Are cops going to turn off their cameras before going all Vic Mackey on a suspect, so that there's no video proof they did anything? (WSMV-TV/Nashville)
