We Have To Pay THEM To Give THEM More Money? Nah

The L.A. Rams -- get used to it again -- say they sold 56,000 $100 refundable reservations to buy season tickets. Not tickets, just the chance to buy tickets. Actually, 56,000 seems low -- I bet they thought they'd sell 70,000 easy -- but $100, even refundable, still seems pointless to me. No way would I hand them money just for the chance to buy season tickets the price of which I don't even know. And when the new stadium comes, they'll want tens of thousands of dollars for PSLs just to buy seats in the new place. No, thanks. I'll watch on TV, and buy through StubHub if I really want to see a particular game, which I doubt I will. (KNBC-TV/Los Angeles)
