Maybe Bringing Back The Greeters To Check Your Receipt Will Help

This is an expose by the Tampa Bay Times, which has gone all in on Pulitzer bait lately, that notes that there is a disproportionate number of police calls to Walmarts, more than any other retailer or practically any other public place. And you, they note, pay for it. They seem to be blaming the store, which they say is laid out in such a way as to invite trouble, and management, which they say understaffs the stores, and the store locating in disadvantaged areas. But is it that or is it the plain fact that low prices attract a lower class of customer? (Tampa Bay Times)
