And as a result, the parents have to repay the school district $55,000 as non-residents. Which brings us to this topic: If you, for whatever reason (quality of schools, maintaining your kids' lives, not wanting to disrupt them any further) want to have your kids go to school in a town where you don't live, do you roll the dice and take your chances, hoping the administrators never find out?
