We'll Give It Another Year And A Half. Then, They Better Start Winning
-
OK, so, as a Phillies fan, I, like the other fans, am on board with the rebuilding process. And we know it's going to take a few years, and that there's still a lot of losing coming up. But right now, they absolutely can't hit, and while losing doesn't matter and we know there's help on the horizon in the person(s) of a phalanx of promising young talent in Lehigh Valley, Reading, Clearwater, Lakewood, and Williamsport, it's making watching games excruciating. Should a team that knows it's not going to come close to the playoffs go ahead and stay the course and not hit at all, or get a few stopgap bats just to keep the embarrassment factor lower?
