A study from BYU asserts that bad things will happen to your daughters if they're exposed to Disney princess toys. This is not a joke. The problem, they say, is that when girls play with these toys and are thus exposed to "Disney Princess Culture," they proceed to be more likely to act in "stereotypical" girl manners. Boys, on the other hand, tend not to play with those toys, but when they do, the study approves of how they become... well, more feminine, really. Is it now the rule that behaving like your gender has always behaved a bad thing? And are they suggesting that gender behaviors are NOT nature, but nurture? (KYW-TV/Philadelphia)
