Some Apologize, Some Leave Them Up And Run For President
-
So... Blake Shelton has apologized for his old tweets, which were your basic doofus guy-making-stupid-gay-jokes stuff and which would have been forgotten except that this is the Internet and nothing is forgotten. His fans are going to overlook or excuse it, his detractors will jump all over this until they get him fired from "The Voice," and it all comes down to whether it really matters what a celebrity thinks, one way or the other. Does it matter what some country singer/TV host tweets? Does it matter what actors who make political or social statements online say? Did you think a Good Ol' Boy would be all that enlightened?
