Another San Francisco Treat
-
Two Russian tourists went to San Francisco's Twin Peaks overlook at 10 pm and got mugged at gunpoint, and the cops know that it's become popular for both tourists and thieves to go up there, which makes me wonder that if the city knows it's a major tourist attraction and there have been a rash of crimes there -- including a shooting -- shouldn't they, you know, maybe patrol the place, or install cameras and bright lighting? Isn't it bad for the city's tourism economy to have an attraction become known as unsafe? (San Francisco Chronicle)
