The Army Corps of Engineers, after all the sturm und drang of the last several months, has rejected the North Dakota pipeline easement at Standing Rock, and, whaddya know, tribal rights actually are counting for something. But couldn't this have been decided a long time ago, when it was clear that the Lake Oahe route wasn't going to fly with the locals? Didn't this waste a LOT of time? (ABC News)
